Macildowie are working with this client based in Derby (DE21) to recruit a Bookkeeper to join a reputable and growing accountancy practice.
This is a permanent, office-based role offering a salary of up to £30,000 depending on experience, with study support.
The role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with a variety of clients across different sectors, thrives in a team environment, and has a strong eye for detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
- Preparation and submission of VAT Returns
- Processing payroll
- Supporting with management accounts and general financial admin
- Assisting with Self-Assessment and Corporation Tax Returns
What We're Looking For:
- Relevant accounting/bookkeeping qualification or equivalent experience
- Strong working knowledge of accounting software and MS Office
- Excellent organisation and time management skills
- A collaborative mindset and confident communication style
