HR Assistant

Location: Leamington Spa

Salary: £26,000 per annum

Are you a detail-oriented and organised individual with a passion for HR? We are looking for an HR Assistant to join our client in Leamington Spa and contribute to the smooth functioning of our HR Department. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in ensuring our HR operations run efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and confidentiality.

Responsibilities:

  1. Day-to-Day HR Support:
    • Assist in the day-to-day operations of the HR Department, ensuring its smooth functioning.
    • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR team, ensuring all tasks are completed to high standards, with strict adherence to deadlines, confidentiality, and accuracy.
  2. Document Processing and Reporting:
    • Process various HR-related documents and prepare reports related to personnel activities, such as recruitment, training, grievances, and performance evaluations.
    • Maintain accurate records, both hard and electronic copies, of colleague information.
  3. Recruitment Assistance:
    • Assist in all aspects of the recruitment process, including coordinating and scheduling interviews, creating and posting job listings, and updating the recruitment system.
    • Ensure all necessary documentation, including references, is collected and organised.
  4. Colleague Support:
    • Respond to colleague queries and requests, providing relevant and timely information.
    • Maintain and manage various company lists and internal reporting elements within established deadlines.
  5. Compliance and Auditing:
    • Conduct monthly internal compliance audits to ensure paperwork and processes are in order.
    • Ensure HR activities adhere to established company policies and regulations.
  6. Communication Hub:
    • Answer incoming calls and handle internal and external queries professionally and efficiently.
    • Manage and respond to queries received via the HR inbox.
  7. Data Management:
    • Collate colleague data for various tasks, including Company Accreditations, Government National Statistics, and internal audits.
    • Maintain data accuracy and confidentiality.
  8. Meeting Support:
    • Attend HR meetings, such as investigations, disciplinaries, and grievances, taking accurate notes.
    • Meetings may occur at different UK site locations.
  9. Monthly Reporting:
    • Generate and submit monthly reports to assist HR decision-making.
  10. Training Platform Management:
    • Oversee the internal training platform and support colleagues with training-related queries.
