There is manufacturing, then there's manufacturing of really stuff…this is one of those!

Macildowie HR are working closely with a Northamptonshire based manufacturing business who are looking for a HR Manager to join them on a permanent basis.

They are a global company with a UK headcount of around 350 employees, they are looking for a HR Manager who will report to the Regional HRM and who is comfortable with line management responsibilities to a team of two.

Their incredible offices are based in Wellingborough and you will be required to be on site - iat first most days - however there is the flexibility for agile working once established.

While on-site you will -

  • Build strong relationships with key stakeholders across the factory
  • Line manage the team of two in HR
  • Oversee payroll to ensure it is accurate with regards to starters, leavers and changes
  • Manage any necessary ER casework - as an escalation point
  • Upskill and coach line managers
  • Succession planning
  • Assist with company restructures and change initiatives

This is a fun, varied role and will require someone who has managed HR from the top and bottom, is comfortable in a 'blue collar' industry and who is happy with the operational side of HR with exposure to strategic projects.

This position is paying c£53,000p.a. + pretty cracking benefits!
