Macildowie seeks an Employee Relations Advisor for a Public Sector organisation based in Leicestershire, to provide expert HR advice, coaching, and support to leaders and managers on various professional HR issues.

This role is an urgent requirement and requires someone to start ASAP!

The role is for a period of 3-6 months, and is paying £19 per hour plus holiday pay. The organisation offers a hybrid working structure with 2-3 days on site a week in Leicester.

Key duties include:

• Act as primary contact for managers, offering solutions on Employment Relations issues.
• Advise, support, and coach managers on timely case management and risk mitigation.
• Use coaching methods to develop manager capabilities and contribute to training programs.
• Collaborate with HR Business Partners to meet needs and maintain employee relations.
• Support change management, including workforce planning, aligned with policies and legislation.
• Assist in employee relations meetings, role analysis, and grading.
• Work with internal/external colleagues on projects and lead annual processes.
• Analyse data, provide reports, and stay updated on industry trends and strategies.

Requirements:

• Proven HR advisory experience in complex employee relations matters.
• Deep knowledge of employment legislation and best practices.
• Experience of working with a large, complex organisation
• Strong coaching, communication, and analytic skills.
• Proactive problem-solving abilities.
