Junior HR Advisor
Nottingham
£30,000p.a.(DOE)
Hybrid Working
Full Time Permanent

My client is on the hunt for an ambitious HR Assistant looking for their next challenge or career progression into a HR Advisor role! Reporting into the HR Manager, your role will assist in the full operational duties within HR from managing the employee lifecycle to ER casework.

The key deliverables of the role:

  • Working alongside the HR Manager to conduct administrative and operational duties of HR, ranging from supporting on the full employee lifecycle from recruitment through to inductions and leavers, but also ER casework.
  • This role will give you the chance to professionally develop in ER and begin to handle more complex ER cases across disciplinary issues, grievances, absence and performance management and so on.
  • Support the Engagement Manager as and when required through communications and events
  • Conduct and produce monthly data reports
  • Assist with payroll checks
  • Support Line Managers in recruitment needs
  • Advise line managers on correct procedures and policy and ensure all staff are compliant with GDPR guidelines


What does the ideal candidate look like?

  • Confident in systems and data reporting from the HR system.
  • Excellent attention to detail when managing the employee lifecycle from recruitment, to onboarding and then induction.
  • Good experience with Microsoft Excel will be very advantageous.
  • Level 3 CIPD qualified.
  • Experience handling low level ER cases such as low level disciplinary issues and grievances, and absence management meetings.
  • Prior experience with unions would be desirable.
