Job Title: HR Data & Process Specialist
Location: Onsite Coventry
Salary: £30,000 - £42,000 per annum DOE
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
About the Role:
We're looking for a proactive and technically capable HR Data & Process Specialist to support and enhance our reward operations and people services. Sitting at the intersection of HR, data, and technology, this role will be central to driving automation, improving reward-related processes, and contributing to innovative AI-led solutions.
This is a hands-on role that combines support for the People Helpdesk with deep involvement in reward process improvement, system automation, and data reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
Support and Streamline Reward Processes:
Work closely with the Reward team and People Helpdesk to manage and optimise reward-related tasks and transactions. Take on a lead role in transferring and embedding reward processes into helpdesk operations.
Automate Workday Processes:
Collaborate with Workday experts to design and automate key reward workflows (e.g., pay review and payment processing), reducing manual effort and improving speed and accuracy.
AI Innovation:
Explore and implement AI solutions within People Services, such as developing a chatbot for frequently asked questions and identifying other automation opportunities to improve the employee experience.
Data and Reporting:
Provide data analysis and reporting support for HR and Reward using Excel and HR systems. Identify opportunities to streamline reporting and enhance data visibility.
Technical Translation and Implementation:
Act as a bridge between HR and technical teamstranslating business needs into system configurations, reporting enhancements, or automation features.
About You:
We're looking for someone who enjoys combining hands-on support with process improvement and innovation. You'll need to be confident working with data and systems, and bring a continuous improvement mindset to everything you do.
You'll also bring:
Strong understanding of HR and reward processes
Experience working with HRIS systems (ideally Workday)
Solid Excel skills and comfort working with data
Technical know-how to support automation and system development
Interest or experience in implementing AI tools such as chatbots
Great communication skills and a collaborative, can-do attitude
