Location: Kettering
Salary: £37,000 - £42,000
Type: Permanent | Office-based | Mon-Fri (8:30 - 16:30)
Macildowie are working with this client based in Kettering to recruit an Education & Training Partner for their fast-paced and growing manufacturing site.
This is a newly evolved position at a well-established global brand, operating in an ever-expanding category within the FMCG space. With c.250 employees onsite, you'll take ownership of the sites training strategy, leading the Education & Training pillar within IWS (Integrated Work Systems) to ensure workforce development and training compliance across the operation.
You'll work closely with the HR and Operational teams to identify training needs, coach SMEs, embed training standards, and ensure compliance tracking is seamless and effective. This is a high-impact role in a business that values proactivity, persistence, and visibility.
What You'll Be doing:
- Lead IWS Education & Training pillar strategy across site
- Develop and implement SME training programmes and governance
- Partner with department leads to deliver site-wide training solutions
- Oversee mandatory training, compliance and tracking via LMS and Excel
- Manage a Training Coordinator and take accountability for KPIs
- Drive cultural engagement with learning and upskilling
- Be a visible, proactive presence on the shop floor daily
What We are Looking For:
- Experience in L&D or training delivery in manufacturing or operations
- Strong Excel and LMS experience
- Confident, assertive communicator and comfortable challenging where needed
- Proven experience with training compliance and KPIs
- Resilient, methodical, and highly organised
- Exposure to IWS/Lean/CI approaches (desirable)
- Previous leadership of training coordinators or training teams (advantageous)
