In HR there is often a 'no mans land', that weird space between HR Advisor and HR Business Partner and there are rarely opportunities available where you can bridge the gap….until now!

Macildowie HR are currently working with a well-established education institute based in Leicestershire who are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join their team, that happy medium between HR Advisor and HR Business Partner (yey!).

This is a permanent position and is based out of their Leicester office on a hybrid basis (2-3 days a week onsite).

This role is a truly generalist position giving the successful candidate the opportunity to get involved in everything from challenging ER case work, team restructures, absence management and HR projects. You will work closely with the recruitment, reward and L&D teams and partner with key stakeholders across the business to understand their HR needs.

Supported by a HR shared service you will provide HR support to a head count of about 1200 employees, answering queries and giving sound HR advice.

To be successful with your application you will have operated at HR Advisor level in a recent role, you will ideally be qualified to CIPD level 7 and have worked within education or understand a highly unionised environment.
