Experience Required: 7+ years
Package: Competitive salary  (Up to £110,000 PA) + exceptional benefits

About the Company

Our client is a globally recognised mutual insurance organisation with nearly two centuries of history, dedicated entirely to property risk management. This is a business where your work carries genuine global impact; operationally, financially, and strategically.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced and commercially astute Regional Corporate Real Estate Portfolio Manager to join our client's Global Corporate Real Estate Team, based from their Maidenhead office.

In this high-profile role, you will own and direct a portfolio of corporate offices across the UK and EMEA, taking responsibility for strategic portfolio planning, complex lease negotiations, capital fit-out projects, facilities management, and regional budget oversight. You will lead multi-disciplinary internal and external teams and serve as a trusted advisor to executive and senior leadership on all real estate matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide strategic, business-focused advice to senior leadership on the design and delivery of regional corporate real estate programmes, encompassing health & safety, security, business continuity, and insurance coordination.
  • Own and manage regional OpEx and CapEx budgets; track planned versus actual costs in partnership with Finance; project costs using internal and external consultants.
  • Prepare and present business cases evaluating real estate options, including cost analysis to support executive decision-making; prepare annual housing budgets for assigned offices.
  • Manage all regional brokerage relationships; conduct market research; lead and negotiate new leases; administer and maintain lease contracts to ensure all obligations are met.
  • Direct all aspects of project management; legal, financial, contractual, and technical, delivering new capital buildouts to cost and quality targets.
  • Collaborate with internal and external legal advisors on the design and documentation of corporate real estate programmes; maintain accurate and complete records of all lease transactions.
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships with field office management across the region.
  • Attract, develop, and lead strong regional teams, providing structure, coaching, and clear leadership.

About You

We are looking for a seasoned real estate professional with a strong track record in corporate portfolio management across complex, multi-country environments. You will bring:

  • A bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Business, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 10 years' experience managing corporate real estate in the UK, ideally with significant EMEA exposure.
  • Proven experience negotiating real estate, construction, and facilities contracts of scale.
  • The ability to translate business strategy into portfolio, location, and workplace decisions that balance cost, risk, and growth.
  • Strong financial acumen including budgeting, cost analysis, and understanding of real estate taxes and operational reconciliation.
  • A solid grasp of architectural design, workplace strategy, construction practices, and project finances.
  • Decisive leadership of cross-functional, multi-disciplinary teams drawn from internal and external resources.
  • Excellent understanding of lease language and the legal nuances of conducting business internationally.
  • Outstanding communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills.
  • The composure and judgement to navigate complexity and ambiguity with confidence.
  • Familiarity with Yardi is advantageous.

What's on Offer

Our client offers a highly competitive remuneration package, including:

  • Final Salary Pension Scheme
  • Private Medical Insurance contribution
  • Annual Incentive Plan
  • Fitness Reimbursement Plan
  • 2 Global Wellbeing Days per annum
  • Annual Volunteer Day
  • Emotional Wellbeing & Mental Health Assistance Programme
