Job Title: Residential Property Paralegal
Location: Banbury, Oxfordshire
Hours: Full-time, Monday - Friday

Overview
An opportunity has arisen for a Paralegal to join the Property Department in our client's Banbury office.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with solid experience in residential conveyancing to provide support to fee earners across a range of administrative and legal tasks to progress files from instruction through to completion and post-completion.

The role is based full-time in the office Monday -Friday.

Role and Responsibilities


As a Property Paralegal, your duties will include (but are not limited to):

  • Providing conveyancing quotes
  • Opening new files
  • Dealing with client enquiries and queries both over the telephone and in person
  • Providing updates to clients, estate agents, and brokers
  • Setting up files for completion
  • Progressing files through to post-completion, file closing, and archiving
  • Obtaining and checking Anti-Money Laundering documentation
  • Submitting registrations and dealing with Land Registry requisitions
  • General administration duties
  • Attending Property Department meetings and firmwide meetings
  • Proficient use of the firm's case management system
  • Acting as first point of contact for incoming calls

About You
Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Ideally, a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a Residential Conveyancing department
  • Sound understanding of the full conveyancing process
  • Knowledge of LMS, Lender Exchange, and Land Registry procedures
  • Strong client care and communication skills
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to be a team player and support others in a busy environment
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Windows, Outlook, and case management systems
