Full Time | Monday to Friday | 9:00am 5:00pm
The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sales Administrator to join a client in Leicester on a temporary-to-permanent basis.
This is a busy and varied administrative role supporting the sales function and providing a professional service to customers throughout their journey. The successful candidate will need to be highly organised, confident communicating with a range of people and comfortable managing multiple priorities within a fast-paced environment.
This would suit someone with a strong administration background who enjoys working with customers and being part of a busy, collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to the Sales team
- Acting as a key point of contact for customers, handling queries professionally and efficiently
- Liaising with customers via telephone and email and ensuring they are kept updated
- Maintaining accurate customer and sales records
- Processing documentation and ensuring information is recorded accurately
- Managing a busy workload and prioritising multiple tasks and deadlines
- Preparing correspondence, reports and other sales-related documentation
- Updating internal systems and databases
- Supporting the team with general day-to-day administration
- Liaising with internal departments to ensure a smooth customer experience
- Responding to telephone and email enquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Ensuring all documentation and customer information is handled accurately and confidentially
- Providing additional administrative support to the wider team when required
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate will have:
- Strong previous administration experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A professional and confident telephone manner
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to build positive relationships
- Excellent organisation and time-management skills
- The ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
- Good attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
- Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
- Confidence learning and using internal systems
- A proactive and flexible approach to work
- The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
