Macildowie was established in 1993, and recruits across 8 core disciplines some locally and some nationally from offices based in Nottingham and Leicester.
Signet Resources was founded in 2003 and recruits in Marketing, HR, Commercial Operations and Finance. Signet is based in Maidenhead, Berkshire and was recently acquired by Macildowie in 2022.

A Resourcer is a key part in the business. You advise, co-ordinate and consult. Finding candidates, understanding their motivations, work history and career goals is all part of the day job.
You will also be
- Responsible for all administration relating to the recruitment process
- Using social media as an attraction tool for prospective candidates and clients.
- Assisting the senior leadership team in managing job vacancies
- Conducting screening interviews and assessing applicant suitability
- Resolving applicants' concerns or issues by providing them with information about the hiring process
- Reviewing CV's and to understand whether candidates meet the relevant qualifications for the
- Maintaining contact with candidates throughout the hiring process to ensure they are well informed throughout the process
- Conducting Right to work checks when necessary
To be successful in this role, you need to love people. In this role you will spend your time forging relationships with candidates during the recruitment process, so it's got to be a passion of yours. It's important for you to have a confident and friendly phone manner with strong email and in-person communication skills too.
We also find the people who enjoy being in this role the most have an excellent level of accuracy and attention to detail, with good time management and planning skills.
You will need to be discrete, and able to maintain high levels of confidentiality too.
