Exciting Career Opportunity: Temporary to Permanent Purchasing Administrator

Ready for a dynamic role in procurement administration? We are working with a spectacular supplier for appliances to find them a Purchasing Administrator, where your skills will thrive, and your impact will be valued.

Position: Temporary to Permanent
Hours: 8:30am 5:00pm (1 hour lunch break)
Location: Derby, on-site 5 days a week
Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilise your prowess to expedite orders, ensuring timely goods arrival.
  • Execute MRP for stocked components, keep system up to date and dispatch purchase orders.
  • Skilfully manage non-stocked requisitions, ensuring timely action.
  • Communicate with suppliers and manage supplier price lists.
  • Deploy skills by sending out Requests for Quotations as required.
  • Communicate with buyers, to discuss any challenges.
  • Swiftly handle the purchasing email inbox and embrace any other administrative duties, showcasing versatility.
  • Be the guardian of accurate pricing and lead time entry on the ERP system.
