Exceptional Opportunity: Senior Supply Chain Planner Position

This role holds a pivotal position within our Client's Supply Chain department, enabling you to make impactful decisions that drive the efficiency and success of our operations. You will be in charge of analysis, inventory optimisation, logistics and cost management.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategise: Formulate intricate reports using ERP systems, spreadsheets and databases to meticulously monitor and guide supply chain performance, setting the bar higher.
  • Innovate: Spearhead recommendations (using analysis of trends/patterns) aimed at elevating supply chain efficiency and effectiveness, leveraging your wealth of experience.
  • Execute: Manage order processing with a senior's touch, ensuring precision and reliability throughout the journey. Oversee stock levels and place orders with suppliers to replenish stock.
  • Communicate: Foster vital communications with both customers and suppliers, ensuring they are well-informed about order status, and gracefully resolve any issues that arise.
  • Collaborate: Work in close harmony with fellow supply chain team members to orchestrate seamless operations. This involves high-level coordination with sales, manufacturing, and logistics departments.


Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Showcase 1-2 years of extensive experience in supply chain data analysis.
  • Preferable but not essential: Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
  • Experience with supply chain data analysis and supply chain software systems, with in-depth knowledge of supply chain metrics and KPIs.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Software Mastery: Boast proficiency with advanced supply chain software systems, Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure, take initiative but also contribute to collaborative team work
