Macildowie are currently recruiting for a HSEQ Manager to join a well established business based in Nottingham on a permenant basis, paying between £45,000 and £50,000 depending on experience.

Role: Develop and oversee HSEQ management systems to ensure safety, compliance, and quality.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain comprehensive HSEQ processes and standards at our Nottingham site.
• Implement and oversee HSEQ policies and procedures.
• Collaborate on cross-departmental training and awareness programs.
• Manage regulatory interactions and audits.
• Lead incident investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Oversee internal non-conformance and product failure investigations.
• Manage internal audit program and drive improvements.
• Develop and track HSEQ metrics and KPIs.
• Handle customer complaints and resolutions.
• Promote HSEQ excellence throughout the organisation.
• Provide site presence, training, and coaching.
• Key member of site Operations team.

Requirements:

• Proficiency in ISO9001, ISO 140001 & 450001 for manufacturing.
• BRC regulations and HACCP knowledge.
• NEBOSH Certificate/Diploma in Occupational Safety and Health.
• ISO Internal Auditor trained.
• Practical coaching ability across all levels.
• Experience in leading change and applying root cause techniques.
• Six Sigma / Lean understanding.
