IT Contract/Procurement Manager – Up to £70,000 Per Annum - 12 Month FTC

Monday – Friday, 9am – 5pm – Full Remote

Macildowie Procurement has exclusively partnered with a global brand to recruit an IT Contract/Procurement Manager on a 12 Month FTC.

Our client is based out of Northampton but this is a fully remote position.

The key objective is to take ownership of strategic procurement, commercial and contract management activity across a portfolio of IT and technology suppliers, ensuring the organisation achieves maximum value from its third-party technology spend.

Main Responsibilities

  • Identify opportunities to leverage third-party spend, deliver cost efficiencies and improve commercial outcomes.
  • Develop category strategies that support long-term value, innovation, resilience and supplier performance.
  • Ensure appropriate third-party due diligence is completed prior to contract award in line with organisational and client policies.
  • Provide procurement and commercial expertise to senior stakeholders, challenging requirements where appropriate and ensuring procurement decisions deliver sustainable business value.
  • Own and manage the end-to-end lifecycle of strategic IT and technology contracts, including drafting, negotiation, execution, variations, renewals, extensions and termination.
  • Lead negotiations covering commercial terms, pricing, SLAs, service credits, incentives, liabilities, termination provisions and other contractual obligations.
  • Review and negotiate contractual terms to minimise commercial, operational, regulatory and supplier risk.
  • Ensure contracts contain appropriate performance measures, governance arrangements, escalation routes, incentives and remedies.
  • Monitor contractual performance and ensure suppliers deliver against agreed commercial and technical KPIs.
  • Develop and maintain strong strategic relationships with key IT and technology suppliers.
  • Maintain accurate records of contracts, supplier activity, commercial decisions and key contractual obligations.

The Candidate

  • Previous experience operating in a strategic IT procurement position.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to influence stakeholders.
  • Exposure to IT outsourcing businesses.
