Job Description

Local Public Sector Organisation / 3 Month Contract / Hybrid working / £18-£20ph

I am supporting a local Public Sector Procurement function who need a Temporary Procurement Administrator to provide short‑term cover during a period of increased workload.

This is an initial 3 temporary assignment for a confident administrator with ideally has a procurement or financial background who can help work across a number or projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the administration duties required to deliver end‑to‑end procurements across across goods, services, concessions and works
  • Assist with quotations and tendersframework administration and direct award paperwork
  • Collate, manage and prepare reports on critical supplier information
  • Assist with the management of the contracts register  
  • Ensure strict compliance with public‑sector PA23 regulations and Contract Procedure Rules
  • Ad-hoc duties as and when required.

About You

  • Ideally you will have supported a procurement function, or a finance function
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and hit the ground running
  • Highly organised with a careful, methodical approach
  • Excellent communication, analytical and computer skills
