Finance Business Partner | Leicester | £51,000 - £56,000
Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with a not for profit organisation based in Leicester looking to appoint a Finance Business Partner on a 12 month contract to cover maternity leave. The individual will be going off around January time so they are looking for an individual to start in October to allow a good handover of 2 months. Given this should you be on a months' notice or looking to leave a permanent role this could offer a solution given the turnaround isn't needed to be so quick.

Prior not for profit experience is NOT a requirement and they would welcome those with a different background to bring in new ideas to the organisation.

- Open to part time 4 days per week or full time 5 days per week
- Pension - 10% Employer contribution, 5% employee
- Annual leave - 28 days + statutory
- Flexible working - 2 days required on site with the rest from home - flexibility to come in more if wanted

The Role
Reporting into the Director of Finance, you will be a key business partner within the team, providing proactive support and advice. You will be contributing to the strategic and operational management of the charity and you will work with the Director of Finance and the other Directors around the business to plan for the future. There will be 3 other members of the finance team including a Management Accountant, Finance Assistant and Finance Officer who will all report in to the Director of Finance. This is a standalone position with no management.

Requirements
- Assured individual who enjoys outward facing roles, working with non-finance stakeholder's and is experienced and confident challenging them when required
- Substantial experience in the preparation and monitoring of budgets and forecasts
- Fully or nearly fully qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CIPFA)
- Intermediate excel - good data manipulation and report writing skills
- Experience of working in a charity environment would prove advantageous BUT is not essential
