Senior Finance Manager | Derbyshire| £55,000 - £61,000
Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with a social housing organisation in Derbyshire who are looking to appoint a new Senior Finance Manager following the planned retirement for the current incumbent later this year.

It is a great time to join with exciting plans for the coming years and you will be playing an instrumental part in both leading and helping deliver changes and projects, which will significantly impact the wider organisation.

Prior social housing experience or knowledge of housing SORP would be highly desirable however if all other criteria are met they open to those without sector experience.

The Role
You will be reporting into the Head of Finance and also managing and mentoring a team of 3 part qualified level individuals. This role has a wide remit from both the statutory accounting side to also budgeting and supporting on corporation tax.

Senior Finance Manager Responsibilities
- Leading the preparation of management accounts, budgets, forecasts and year end accounts
- Managing and developing a team of 3 individuals
- Managing the balance sheet accounting processes (fixed assets, cash and reconciliations)

Requirements
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA) or part qualified/ finalist
- Experience managing within a Finance role (1-2-1's, PDP's etc)
- Experience leading on statutory/ year end processes and liaising with auditors
- Experience leading the preparation of management accounts, budgets and forecasts

Desirable but not essential
- Social Housing experience or knowledge
- Experience with Open Accounts
