Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with an Educational organisation based in Leicestershire who provide further education and opportunities to individuals across the county who are seeking to appoint a Head of Procurement to lead their Procurement function.

Are you an experienced Category Manager or Procurement Manager seeking an opportunity to lead a Procurement strategy and create change, then this could be a great opportunity for you.

Ideally they are looking for an individual with prior public/ not for profit sector experience but are open to individuals with any sector background who meet the below requirements.

The Role
You will lead the Procurement function and all end to end procurement process, managing projects (two upcoming capital projects) as well as contract management and liaison with budget managers to deliver the best possible commercial outcomes. You will be reporting into and working closely with the CFO implementing the procurement strategy, as well as having the support of a Procurement Officer.

Minimum Requirements:
- CIPS level 6 or above
- End to end tendering experience
- Familiarity with public procurement regulations ideally OR regulated sector/ private sector experience working at a level supporting and implementing strategy

- Hybrid working - 1-2 days from home with the rest on site
