Head of Rent and Service Charge Accounting | Leicestershire | £70,000 - £78,000
Macildowie are delighted to be partnering with East Midlands Housing Group (emh) for an exciting opportunity to lead a brand new team as Head of Rent and Service Charge Accounting.
This role has come about following legislative changes to the social housing sector and an internal review of capacity and processes which means they will be adding 12 new Finance posts to the existing structure (with this post leading the new team). I am starting the search with this role so if you are successful you will be involved in all interviews and then decision of the subsequent appointments into the team later this year/ early next year.

Overview
- £70,000 - £78,000
- 35 hours per week
- 8% employer pension contribution
- 39 days annual leave (including bank holidays)
- Hybrid working (sit based in Coalville - LE67 4JP)
Requirements
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CIPFA)
- Depth of service charges knowledge and experience (whether from another social housing organisation or the private sector)
- Experience leading and managing teams
- Experience preparing budgets, monthly management accounts and annual service charge statements
Desirable
