E-commerce Marketplace Manager

Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Macildowie are excited to be working with a lead Ecommerce business, based in Loughborough. This is a hands-on role focused on managing and optimising performance across third-party marketplaces, with a particular emphasis on Amazon. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving growth and efficiency within a growing digital sales environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of online marketplaces (with a primary focus on Amazon).
- Optimise listings, monitor product performance, and manage advertising (basic campaign setup and performance tracking).
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate product data, pricing, and availability.
- Manage relationships with aggregator platforms (e.g., Linnworks, BigCommerce, ChannelEngine).
- Troubleshoot and improve marketplace operations including dispatch rates, returns, and customer feedback.
- Support the reactivation and growth of international marketplaces (especially EU-focused platforms such as Mirakl and Amazon EU).
- Generate regular performance reports and actionable insights to inform commercial decisions.
- Maintain a high standard of content and listings aligned with brand tone and product specifications.
Candidate Profile:
Experience:
- 3-5 years' experience in e-commerce or marketplace management (in-house or agency).
- Proven track record with Amazon seller or vendor central.
- Experience with multi-channel e-commerce tools and PIM/feed systems.
- Exposure to international marketplaces (especially in the EU) is highly advantageous.
Skills & Attributes:
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and organisational skills.
- Hands-on mentality - someone who enjoys executing and improving processes rather than purely managing them.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce performance metrics.
- Adaptable, commercially minded, and able to thrive in a flexible environment.
- Collaborative with strong communication skills for working across departments and with external partners.
