Senior Designer
Hybrid, Waltham Abbey
09:00 - 17:30, Monday to Friday
Up to £40,000
Macildowie are working with this client based in Waltham Abbey, Essex who are looking to appoint a Senior Designer on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly creative team and work on an exciting portfolio of products across entertainment, music, gaming, sport and lifestyle. The role offers a hybrid working arrangement with time spent in the company's design studio.
The Role
Reporting to the Head of Design, you will be responsible for creating designs across multichannel print functions, developing concepts through to production-ready artwork. You will have the chance to work with some of the biggest global brands whilst mentoring junior team members and freelancers where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing across a wide range of licensed products from concept to final artwork
- Ensuring brand guidelines and approval processes are followed
- Keeping on top of trends in entertainment and popular culture to influence creative direction
- Managing multiple projects within tight deadlines
- Supporting and guiding junior members of the design team
Candidate Profile:
- Strong eye for detail and design with proven experience in Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience working on licensed products and knowledge of approval processes
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Commercial awareness of key audiences and market trends
- Flexible and adaptable with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
