Creative Lead (Design & Marketing)
Location: Hinckley - Office Based
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000
Macildowie are working exclusively with a leading manufacturing business to recruit a Creative Lead - a standalone role for a highly skilled designer and creative marketer who will take ownership of all visual and brand output across the business.
The Role
As the Creative Lead, you'll be the driving force behind the look, feel, and communication of the brand. This hands-on role covers the full creative mix - from traditional marketing materials such as brochures, catalogues, leaflets, and press adverts, through to digital graphics, photography, and video content.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, creative autonomy, and taking full ownership of the visual identity for a respected UK manufacturer within the FMCG space.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and produce a range of print materials including brochures, catalogues, leaflets, posters, signage, and exhibition stands.
- Create digital graphics and assets for websites, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
- Develop and edit video and photography content to showcase products, capture events, and tell the brand story.
- Maintain and evolve brand guidelines, ensuring all content is visually consistent and aligned with the company's tone and values.
- Support product launches by designing packaging visuals, adverts, and promotional assets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop creative ideas and transform concepts into finished materials.
- Manage creative workflows, ensuring all projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
- Research trends and competitor activity to keep the brand's visual identity fresh and modern.
About You
- A creative designer with proven experience producing both print and digital marketing materials.
- Expert in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or After Effects).
- Confident creating engaging, brand-led visuals across multiple formats.
- Strong understanding of traditional marketing design - from concept through to print-ready artwork.
- Skilled in videography and photography, including editing and post-production.
- Excellent attention to detail and a flair for layout, typography, and brand presentation.
- Self-sufficient, organised, and able to manage multiple projects independently.
- A degree in Graphic Design, Marketing, or a related creative discipline is desirable but not essential.
