Job Description
Macildowie are working exclusively with this retailer based in South Nottinghamshire (easily accessible from Derbyshire/Nottingham/Leicestershire).
We are seeking a Senior Marketing Executive to provide maternity cover (until February 2027), with the potential to join permanently thereafter. This is a full-time, office-based role offering a salary of around £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience. If you are looking for your first experience as a line manager this could be some excellent exposure for you, as you will be leading a couple of junior marketers.
You'll play a key part in ensuring continuity within a busy, fast-paced marketing team during an exciting time for the business, including the launch of a brand-new website in early 2026.
The Role
- Managing and updating the company website (WordPress)
- Supporting and overseeing PPC and SEO activity
- Creating engaging marketing content and managing social media channels
- Coordinating email marketing campaigns (MailChimp)
- Liaising with agencies, suppliers, and major household brands
- Supporting day-to-day marketing operations alongside the Marketing Assistant and Web Administrator
The Ideal Candidate
- Has solid experience in digital marketing and campaign management
- Ideally brings some PPC experience, either from in-house or agency-side
- Can demonstrate strong organisational skills in a busy environment
- Has previous experience using WordPress and/or MailChimp
- Communicates confidently and professionally with internal teams and brand partners
- Is proactive, collaborative, and enjoys working as part of a small, hands-on team
