Trade Marketing Manager (eCommerce/Digital)

Macildowie are partnering with a leading business to recruit a Trade Marketing Manager (eCommerce & ERT Channels) on a permanent, hybrid basis (office‑based in London & Northampton plus occasional UK travel).
About the Role:
The role sits at the heart of home electronics / consumer electricals retail and direct‑to‑consumer channels. You will manage trade marketing across key retail partners while also owning the D2C eCommerce strategy. Your remit spans from B2B retail collaboration to digital execution, ensuring brand consistency, optimised promotions, strong retailer relationships, and an enhanced customer experience online.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute joint marketing and promotional programmes with retail partners to drive category growth, share, and profitability.
Manage new product launches - retailer‑specific merchandising, promotional content, campaign support.
Analyse retail partner performance (sell‑in, sell‑out, digital traffic, promo ROI) and present actionable recommendations.
Ensure consistent brand presence across retailer eCommerce platforms, product pages, and advertising.
Coordinate closely with retailer marketing teams, sales, and internal stakeholders to secure maximum visibility and promotional activity.
Lead the D2C eCommerce Trading Calendar, aligning global objectives with local market needs, communicating key campaign dates and trading events.
Manage and grow customer review initiatives (e.g. through review platforms), working with third‑party partners to boost verified reviews and ratings.
Work with global teams to localise review platforms, implementing review acquisition programs to improve SEO and generative‑search visibility.
Drive first‑party data acquisition campaigns to grow email database; coordinate with global marketing automation on EDMs and lifecycle campaigns.
Monitor emerging digital commerce trends, technologies and best practices; evaluate opportunities and present recommendations to global teams to enhance D2C customer experience.
Key Skills & Experience:
At least 2 years' marketing experience - ideally B2B/trade marketing or retail marketing (brand marketing desirable but not essential)
Excellent communication, presentation and writing skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Experience working with digital platforms (e.g. Power BI, Google Analytics)
Strong analytical capability - able to interpret data and translate into actionable strategies
Strong relationship‑management skills - with retail partners and global internal stakeholders
Commercial acumen, ROI focus, and ability to balance global guidelines with local market needs
