Job Description

Macildowie are working with an established business based in Leicestershire who are looking to recruit an experienced Head of Sales. The objective of this position is to secure new partnerships in line with the business strategy. You will
ensure that new business is sourced and brought on board in line with revenue targets. Ensure that the Account Executives are focused on providing new leads and managing existing partners.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver the overall Sales Strategy
  • Achieve revenue goals
  • Deliver new Key Accounts
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships
  • Partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Understand category-specific landscapes and trends
  • Reporting on forces that shift tactical budgets and strategic direction of accounts
  • Lead and motivate the Account Executives to develop customer relations, increase market share and sales revenue
  • To source and develop new business opportunities resulting in income generation for the
    business against agreed targets
  • Identify opportunities at an early stage and manage the engagement process with the client
  • Manage the business development pipeline and successfully integrate new partnerships into the business
  • Research new product areas to ensure opportunities are optimised
  • Managing the relationship between external agencies and potential new clients from
    external sources
  • Monitor and track sale of new 3rd parties and analyse return on investments
  • Oversee the nursery process to ensure accounts are optimised at the earliest opportunity

About the candidate:

  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Previous experience managing a team
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the business
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated and achievable solutions
  • B2B, retail or fashion industry experience
