Accounts Payable Coordinator / Enderby / Temporary / up to £15.00ph
Macildowie are excited to be working with a brilliant and renowned business based in Enderby, looking to add an energetic and motivated Accounts Payable Coordinator to their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a busy, dynamic and fast-paced finance team, giving you exposure to various areas of the business.
You will support the Accounts Payable operation and report directly to the Team Leader. You will be part of the team responsible for the day-to-day running of the function, ensuring a high level of accuracy is maintained while supporting the wider business with high-profile projects and managing a growing supplier base of over 3,500 active suppliers.
This role would be particularly well suited to a strong up-and-coming finance professional who has a solid base of transactional finance experience, plenty of drive and a real desire to develop their skills within a fast-moving environment.
ROLE DETAILS:
3-month temporary role with potential for extensions
Full time, office based
Up to £15.00ph
This is a temporary role providing support for an initial three-month period, with the potential for extensions.
We are looking for someone who can get stuck in from day one, work confidently within a busy environment and bring a proactive, can-do attitude to the team.
The hourly rate for this role is up to £15.00ph, dependent on experience.
THE ROLE & YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ownership of the purchase ledger
Matching, coding and posting invoices to the correct nominal codes
Resolving disputes with suppliers
Resolving invoice queries
Working proactively as part of a team to ensure the smooth processing of the purchase ledger
Managing a busy workload while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines
EXPERIENCE SOUGHT IN THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE:
- Proactive and highly organised, with strong time management and planning skills
Meticulous attention to detail
Previous experience working within accounts payable or a similar transactional finance role
Experience completing payment runs would be advantageous
Highly proficient in using computer applications and finance software
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with colleagues in the UK and abroad, cross-functional teams and third parties
Observant and resourceful, with a methodical approach
Ability to work accurately and meet deadlines within a busy, fast-paced environment
Self-motivated, ambitious and driven to take on new challenges
Able to prioritise and work under their own initiative, as well as collaboratively within a team
Well suited to an up-and-coming candidate who is keen to develop and progress their finance experience
