The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced credit professional to join a leading international organisation as a Credit Manager. This is a key leadership role responsible for managing a significant credit portfolio, supporting key commercial relationships, and helping to drive business success through effective credit risk management.
Working within a specialist credit team, you will play a pivotal role in developing strategic customer relationships, structuring complex credit facilities, and ensuring the ongoing quality and performance of the portfolio.
This position offers the opportunity to work within a highly collaborative international environment, partnering closely with senior stakeholders and commercial teams while contributing to strategic business initiatives and process improvements.
A comprehensive handover and transition period will be provided to ensure a smooth transfer of responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong commercial relationships with key customers and partners

Structure, review and approve complex credit line applications and requests

Assess and manage credit risk across a substantial portfolio

Monitor portfolio performance and proactively identify potential risks and opportunities

Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across commercial and operational teams

Support business growth through the provision of tailored credit solutions

Lead and contribute to strategic process improvement and system enhancement initiatives

Ensure compliance with internal credit policies and regulatory requirements

Provide expert credit guidance and support to both internal and external stakeholders

Drive continuous improvement within credit processes and portfolio management activities
About You

Experience & Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:

A degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Management or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience

Significant experience within commercial credit underwriting and portfolio management

Experience within financial services, asset finance, commercial lending, banking, or a similar credit-focused environment

Proven experience managing complex customer credit relationships

Previous people management or leadership experience

Strong understanding of financial analysis and credit risk assessment
