About the Role
Our client, a long-established UK manufacturer and supplier of premium soft furnishings and home interiors, is seeking a highly organised Administrator to join their operations team. With a heritage spanning over a century, the business combines traditional craftsmanship with modern production methods, supplying a wide range of curtains, blinds, voiles, and accessories to trade customers across the UK and beyond.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who thrives in a busy, collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with production, warehouse, and customer service teams to ensure smooth operational processes.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately process and manage customer orders using internal systems.
Liaise with production, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely order fulfilment.
Maintain accurate records for orders, invoicing, and sample inventory.
Coordinate the preparation and distribution of swatch books, showroom samples, and other sales materials.
Support the operational team with reporting, ad-hoc documentation, and administrative compliance.
Respond to customer and internal queries promptly and professionally.
Candidate Profile
Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within manufacturing, wholesale, or similar sectors.
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.
Confident using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and adaptable to learning bespoke systems.
Clear and professional communication skills, both written and verbal.
Ability to work effectively across teams and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Proactive and solution-focused approach to work.
