Pricing Analyst
Location: Leicester (LE19)
Salary: Circa £27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
We are looking for a highly organised and analytical Pricing Analyst to join our team based in Leicester (LE19). This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong attention to detail and a commercial mindset to play a key role in delivering competitive, market-leading pricing within the automotive finance sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Update dealer and manufacturer terms on a weekly basis
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers and manufacturers
- Analyse internal databases to create offers and pricing campaigns
- Compare manufacturer terms against funder terms to ensure market-leading competitiveness
- Identify pricing wins across funders via ratebooks and quoting systems and communicate these to Sales and Marketing teams
- Work closely with the Marketing team to promote pricing insights and campaigns
- Conduct market research to stay informed on competitor offers
- Maintain and update website and aggregator site pricing to ensure accuracy and availability
- Ensure all advertised prices are competitive, compliant, and up to date
- Promote funder tactical offers immediately upon launch to achieve first-to-market advantage
- Manage Affinity site pricing, ensuring correct and valid terms are applied
- Support the Sales team in achieving advertised prices through strong pricing knowledge
- Analyse enquiry data (payment terms, mileage, manufacturers) to shape best-in-market offerings
- Undertake and complete ad-hoc pricing projects
- Adhere strictly to FCA processes and best practices when advertising
- Monitor and manage stock levels
The Ideal Candidate
- Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail
- Analytical and commercially aware
- Strong IT skills and confidence working with data
- Excellent communication skills
- Tenacious and persistent in approach
- Experience within the automotive sector is desirable but not essential
