Office based, Northampton
Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 17:00
Macildowie are working with this client based in Northampton to recruit a Purchasing Administrator to join their procurement function. This is a key administrative role, supporting the day-to-day ordering and coordination of workwear, PPE, and workplace supplies.
You'll be working closely with both suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely procurement, accurate order tracking, and efficient stock reporting. The role would suit someone with excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and a background in purchasing or business administration.
What you'll be doing:
- Processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate procurement records
- Liaising with suppliers regarding pricing, availability, and delivery schedules
- Tracking open orders and supporting the timely receipt of goods
- Assisting with stock monitoring and reporting
- Supporting wider admin tasks within the purchasing function
Who we're looking for:
- Experience in purchasing, procurement, or administration
- Comfortable communicating confidently with suppliers and colleagues
- Highly organised and detail-focused
- A team player who can also work independently
- Experience in workwear or PPE is a plus, but not essential
