Credit Controller / Lutterworth / Permanent / Up to £26,000 / Office Based

Role and Responsibilities:

As a Credit Controller, you will be a key player in maintaining their financial health and customer relationships. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Cash Collection: Engaging in proactive collection efforts, including telephone communication, dunning letter generation, and collaboration with their depot network.
  • Dispute Management: Resolving customer disputes efficiently and professionally.
  • Reporting: Preparing weekly, monthly, and ad-hoc management reports to monitor and track credit control activities.
  • Risk Management: Ensuring compliance with their risk insurance policy and conducting ongoing credit and risk assessments to minimize bad debt.
  • Account Balances: Monitoring customer account balances against credit limits and taking action to collect overdue and over-exposed balances.
  • Debt Recovery: Collaborating with internal collection efforts and referring accounts to debt recovery specialists when necessary.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheeting for reporting and documentation purposes.
