Job Description

Our client, a leading company in Leicester, is seeking a skilled and motivated FP&A Analyst to join their finance team. If you're ready to take your expertise to the next level, this role is your gateway to a rewarding career.

About the Role: As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in driving informed decision-making and strategic planning within our client's organisation. Your analytical prowess will be instrumental in providing accurate insights, forecasting trends, and supporting key stakeholders. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with various departments to gather data and insights for financial analysis.
  • Preparing and presenting regular financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Conducting variance analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
  • Developing and maintaining financial models for scenario analysis.
  • Supporting the preparation of executive-level presentations.
  • Assisting in month-end and quarter-end financial close processes.
  • Participating in cross-functional projects to enhance financial processes.

Qualifications and Skills: To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an FP&A Analyst or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis.
  • Advanced Excel skills and familiarity with financial software.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to translate complex financial concepts into actionable insights.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to think critically and solve problems.
  • A proactive and collaborative approach to teamwork.
  • Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
