Position: Head of Finance
Location: Leicester
Salary: Up to £75,000 per annum

Role and Responsibilities:
As the Head of Finance, you will lead the finance team and work closely with senior management to ensure the financial health and growth of the company. Your responsibilities will include:

Financial Strategy: Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
Budgeting and Forecasting: Prepare accurate budgets, forecasts, and financial plans to support decision-making processes.
Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation of financial statements, management reports, and other financial analyses.
Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow, working capital, and treasury operations to optimize financial resources.
Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement measures to mitigate them effectively.
Team Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to the finance team, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous development.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, regulatory bodies, and financial institutions.
Process Improvement: Streamline financial processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance department.
Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, accounting standards, and tax requirements.

Qualifications and Experience:

Experience working at a similar level within another SME.
ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified, though QBE will also be considered.
Good Excel skills - Pivots, look ups, IFs...
Previous line management experience.
