Assistant Management Accountant Leicester Hybrid working available up to £33,000 per annum

Macildowie Finance are working exclusively with a fantastic creative business based in Leicester who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their finance team to play an important role in getting involved in the group management accounts.

This team is looking for a Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA candidate who is actively studying towards these qualifications and can bring a driven and enthusiastic profile to a highly positive and outgoing finance team. The business embodies a positive, cheerful attitude to align with their creative nature of business, so there will be expectations that this candidate will bring an optimistic and confident character to fit in with the wider business!

Some of the responsibilities of the role include:

Supporting in the production of monthly management accounts: including cash flow statements and balance sheets

Producing VAT returns

Producing and posting month end journals: including accruals, prepayments, fixed assets register

Assisting with overhead reporting

Preparing weekly financial KPIs

The ideal candidate will be/have:

Part Qualified ACCA/CIMA and actively studying

Desire and drive to learn and perform well within a finance setting

Experience working in an accounting role

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
