Location: North Leicester

Job Description:

As a Finance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in managing and optimising their financial operations. You will have the opportunity to make a real impact by providing strategic financial guidance, enhancing processes, and ensuring financial stability in a rapidly evolving industry. The role offers fantastic breadth from Financial, year end accounting, monthly management accounts and also supporting the Finance Director with strategic goal setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop and oversee financial strategies, budgets, and forecasts to support the company's growth objectives.

Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and variance analyses to senior management.

Cash Flow Management: Monitor and manage cash flow, working capital, and financial liquidity to ensure the company's financial stability.

Risk Management: Identify financial risks and implement strategies to mitigate them effectively.

Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards, working closely with auditors and relevant authorities.

Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and growth.

Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimisation and efficiency gains within the finance department.

Strategic Financial Initiatives: Collaborate with senior management on strategic financial initiatives, including mergers, acquisitions, and investments.

Qualifications:

ACCA/CIMA/ACA Qualified, part qualified and QBE also considered

Proven experience as a Finance Manager or similar role, preferably in a business with a similar turnover.

Strong financial analysis and modelling skills.

Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Attention to detail and a high level of integrity.
