  • Reports To: Payroll Team Leader
  • Hours: 37.5 hours per week
  • Position: Permanent
  • Salary: Β£21,000 - Β£25,000

🌟 Primary Role Purpose: As a Payroll Administrator/Trainee Payroll Administrator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate processing of wages, salaries, and other forms of compensation across allocated payroll sites. You will maintain positive relationships with key customers on these sites, answer queries promptly, and provide administration and reconciliation support for benefits processes.

πŸ“‹ Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Processing weekly payroll, including timesheet collation and input
  • Calculating and processing holiday requests
  • Ensuring accurate processing of new starters and leavers
  • Handling unpaid leave and family leave pay
  • Processing statutory and company sickness payments
  • Authorising and reconciling payroll reports
  • Administering payroll benefits
  • Handling P45 distribution
  • Addressing general queries via email and phone
  • Additional payroll duties as required

  • Enthusiastic and adaptable
  • Proficient in IT, including Microsoft Office

🌟 Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with iTrent and Workday
  • HR/Finance shared services experience
  • Managing multiple payrolls

  • Payroll System: MHR iTrent
  • HR System: Workday

🏒 Additional Information:

  • 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday, flexible hours)
  • Potential for hybrid working once fully trained
