Exciting Opportunity for a Management Accountant - 6-Month Contract

Your Role:

• Support in preparing precise and timely month-end accounts, close processes, and reports, aligning with group policies.

• Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations, address issues, and ensure the accuracy of general ledger accounting and sub-ledgers.

• Generate month-end and year-end journals, accruals, and prepayments.

• Assist with year-end Statutory Accounts production, assisting with external audit process.

• Support the preparation of departmental P&L accounts, analysing variances against budget/forecast.

• Contribute to the continual enhancement of systems, processes, and controls.

• Provide guidance and support to the purchase and receivables ledger team for accuracy and insights.

• Cultivate networks and relationships with other teams, fostering collaboration with finance and non-finance stakeholders.

• Undertake any additional duties reasonably requested by the business.
