We are seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join a dynamic finance team for an industry leading SME based in Hinckley. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the day to day finance team, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in financial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor a team of finance professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.

Provide training and development opportunities to enhance the team's skills and capabilities.

Develop and maintain financial models to support business planning, budgeting, and forecasting.

Provide insightful analysis of financial performance, identifying key trends and opportunities.

Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and monitor performance against targets.

Prepare and present accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and KPIs to senior management.

Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.

Manage cash flow, working capital, and liquidity to optimize financial stability.

Identify financial risks and maintain a robust internal control environment and ensure compliance with internal policies.

VAT returns.

Qualifications and Experience:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or qualified by experience)

Proven experience in a senior finance role, preferably in an SME within retail or manufacturing.

Excellent Excel skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
