My client, is a leading and rapidly expanding organisation headquartered in Coventry, seeking an experienced and technical Group Financial Controller to join their dynamic team. As the Group Financial Controller, you will be instrumental in steering the financial direction at a group level. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial leadership, reporting, and strategic financial planning. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the exec team, offering insights and driving financial performance across the entire business.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the preparation and analysis of consolidated financial reports for the group.
Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
Lead the development and execution of group-wide financial strategies and initiatives.
Collaborate with senior management to drive financial decision-making at the group level.
Implement and monitor robust financial controls to safeguard the integrity of financial data.
Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and industry standards.
Direct the group-wide budgeting process, working closely with business units and departments.
Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts to support business planning.
Optimise cash flow across the group to enhance liquidity and financial stability.
Develop and implement strategies to improve working capital efficiency.
Play a key role in financial due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions.
Lead the integration of financial systems and processes post-acquisition.
Manage and mentor a high-performing finance team.
Foster a collaborative and results-driven culture within the finance department.

You must be/have:

ACA/ACCA Fully qualified
Proven experience as a Group Financial Controller or in a similar senior financial leadership role.
In-depth knowledge of financial reporting, consolidation, and group accounting.
Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance.
Top 10 Practice trained
Experience in managing and leading finance teams.
