Job Description

Join a dynamic team at a thriving business with a turnover of around £10 million, situated in Hinckley. My client is currently seeking a talented Finance Manager to lead their financial operations, managing a team of 3.


As a Finance Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the financial health and strategy of the organisation. Working closely with senior management, you will be responsible for managing financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting processes. Your insights and analysis will guide strategic decision-making, ensuring the sustainable growth and profitability of the company.


Key Responsibilities:


Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.


Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, providing insights into variances and trends.


Develop and monitor budgets, forecasts, and cash flow projections to support business objectives.


Conduct financial analysis to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiency.


Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting requirements.


Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial guidance and support for strategic initiatives.


Assess and mitigate financial risks, implementing appropriate controls and procedures.


Supervise and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development.

You will be/have:


Qualified AAT/ACCA/ACA/CIMA or Qualified by experience.


Experience in managing a small finance team.


Strong Excel skills
