Job Description
Purchase Ledger Clerk - Hybrid - Leicester City Centre - Up to £32,000
Macildowie are working with this client based in Leicester City Centre to recruit an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join their finance team.
Salary: Up to £32,000 per annum
Employment Type: Permanent
Working Arrangement: Hybrid, Flexi-Time (Core hours: 09:00am-16:00pm Mon-Thurs, 09:00am-15:30pm Fri)

Key Responsibilities:
Process purchase invoices and credit notes
Reconcile supplier statements
Manage foreign currency payments
Maintain accurate records and update internal systems
Resolve invoice and payment discrepancies
Liaise with suppliers and internal teams
Use Sage 200 and internal software to support finance operations
About You:
Previous experience in purchase ledger/accounts payable
Familiar with Sage 200 and Microsoft Excel (basic to intermediate)
Strong attention to detail and time management
Able to work independently and prioritise workload
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
