This global leader in manufacturing, renowned for its innovation and proud heritage, is looking for a Management Accountant to join its high performing finance team. Working within one of the most critical arms of the business-you'll be stepping into a team that thrives on precision, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
What you'll be doing:
- Support the Assistant Financial Controller with month-end activities, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Take ownership of key balance sheet reconciliations-particularly inventory management (£60m+).
- Monitor overheads against budget and forecast, providing clear, insightful reporting to stakeholders.
- Deliver monthly cashflow reporting to keep the business on a steady financial footing.
- Act as a true business partner, working with operational teams to streamline processes and control costs.
- Lead the management and forecasting of capital expenditure projects.
- Drive the development and automation of financial reporting to improve efficiency and transparency.
What we're looking for:
- Part-qualified or finalist (CIMA/ACCA/ACA) - newly qualified candidates with strong potential are also encouraged.
- Previous experience in a management accounting role; manufacturing sector exposure would be a bonus but not essential.
- Excellent Excel skills and a mindset geared towards challenging the status quo and driving process improvements.
- A hands-on attitude, with an eye for detail and the ability to thrive under pressure and tight deadlines.
