Temporary Payroll Administrator / Assistant
Leicester | Office-Based
35 hours per week (9am-5pm or earlier start/finish available)
Up to £15 per hour
1 Month+ Temporary Assignment
We're working with a local business in need of an experienced Payroll Administrator or Assistant to support with weekly payroll processing for their shop floor team. This is a temporary role covering at least 1 month, with the potential to extend. You'll be based fully on-site and part of a small, hands-on finance function.
The Role:
Processing weekly payroll for approximately 44 shop floor employees
Using a time and attendance system to collate and check hours
Responding to payroll queries from employees and line managers
Carrying out payroll administration including journals and reports
Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll data
General support across payroll as needed
About You:
Experienced in payroll processing and payroll administration
Confident using Sage Payroll (essential)
Detail-oriented and comfortable working to tight deadlines
Available to start quickly and commit to an office-based role
