Job Description

Credit Control & Accounts Administrator
Location: Syston
Type: Temporary (with potential to become permanent)
Hourly Rate: Up to £15 per hour
Start Date: ASAP

Macildowie are working with a well-established and people-focused business based in Syston, who are looking for an experienced Credit Control & Accounts Administrator to join their finance team on a temporary basis, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone who can hit the ground running and support the business through a busy period. You'll be joining a supportive, collaborative team in a well-run organisation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reconciliation of customer accounts and accurate allocation of payments

  • Liaising with customers by phone and email to obtain remittance advice

  • Requesting purchase orders and assisting with PO planning for the upcoming financial year

  • Supporting customer data capture and cleansing

  • Assisting with minor write-offs and other ad-hoc finance admin

What We're Looking For:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in credit control or a finance admin role

  • Sage experience is essential

  • Confident communicator, both over the phone and via email

  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage your own workload

  • A flexible, team-oriented approach
