Macildowie are working with an impressive client based in Leicestershire to recruit a Group Finance Analyst on an interim contract for 9mnths.
Role: Group Finance Analyst
Salary: £70-80k pa
Employment type: Fixed Term Contract - 9mnths
Working arrangement: 3 days office/2 days from home
About the Role
This role is key within the Group Finance team where you will be reporting to the Head of Forecasting, Planning & Analysis (FP&A). As Group Finance Analyst, you will act as a vital analytical partner to both divisional operations and head office leadership. This position delivers both standard and bespoke management reporting offering insight, clarity and value to business decision-making.
You will be responsible for:
- Producing weekly and monthly management information packs and performance reporting to a high standard.
- Delivering regular and ad-hoc analysis to identify trends and drive performance improvements.
- Contributing to the preparation and analysis of data for senior presentations and results announcements.
- Championing process improvements and efficiency-driven change.
- Enhancing existing reporting frameworks and helping design new tools aligned with business needs.
- Acting as a proactive, solutions-orientated finance partner to stakeholders across functions.
What we are looking for:
- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified.
- Minimum 5 years' experience in FP&A or similar senior financial analysis roles.
- Experience of working in a larger business
- Strong analytical skills confident in working with large, complex data sets.
- Excellent Excel proficiency
- Solid understanding and experience of how Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow interact.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the confidence to challenge and be challenged.
- Resilient, self-motivated and able to operate autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
