Accounts Receivable - Part-Time
Job Description
Macildowie are working with this client based in Meridian Business Park, Leicestershire to recruit a part-time Temporary Accounts Receivable professional.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-established organisation within the commercial sector. The role is initially offered on a temporary basis (4-6 months) with the potential to extend or become permanent. Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:15am-2:15pm, and the role operates on a hybrid basis (office-based for training, then part-home/part-office thereafter). The hourly rate is up to £15 per hour, depending on experience.
You'll join a busy and collaborative finance team, working within a high-volume environment. The role involves data processing, reconciliations, and some light debt chasing, and would suit someone with SAP and strong Excel skills who enjoys accuracy and pace.
Key Responsibilities:
Process and manage high-volume AR transactions using SAP
Reconcile customer accounts and maintain accurate records
Support with cash allocation and query resolution
Carry out light debt chasing when required
Analyse large datasets and produce reports in Excel
Collaborate with the wider finance team to drive accuracy and efficiency
Provide ad-hoc support with finance-related tasks
About You:
Previous experience in Accounts Receivable or transactional finance
Proficient in Microsoft Excel (data handling and analysis)
SAP experience is highly desirable
Able to work independently and manage deadlines
Available at short notice
