Job Description
Macildowie are working with a large engineering client based in Willenhall who are seeking to appoint an AP/AR Specialist to join their established finance function.
This is a full-time, permanent position, working on a Hybrid basis, with a salary of up to £28,000 per annum.
The Role
This opportunity will suit an experienced finance professional with proven exposure to both Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing high-value, high-volume invoice processing across multiple divisions of the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Processing large volumes of invoices with accuracy and attention to detail
- Managing purchase invoices (estimated at a couple of hundred per month)
- Handling large volumes of invoices
- Performing end-to-end Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable duties
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving invoice queries
- Supporting the finance function with reporting and month-end processes
- Ensuring compliance with financial procedures and controls
Key Skills & Experience:
- Previous experience in AP/AR or a similar transactional finance role
- Strong numerical and organisational skills
- Confidence handling high-value invoice processing
- Excellent attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial system.
