Interim Commercial Finance Manager - Hybrid (1-2 days on-site) - Northamptonshire
Macildowie are working with this Northamptonshire based client who are seeking a Commercial Finance Manager to join their finance function.
This is an interim position to support the team through a period of transition. The role will report directly into the Head of Finance and provide both financial oversight and strategic support across the business.
What you'll do
- Prepare full management accounts, including P&L and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Present financial performance and insight to senior leadership.
- Deliver weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for Directors and Managers.
- Manage VAT and compliance obligations.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Drive continuous improvements in processes, systems, and reporting.
- Liaise with and support wider finance team as required.
What you'll need
- Proven experience producing management reporting, budgeting and forecasting.
- A background in a large, complex organisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication skills with the confidence to challenge and influence stakeholders.
- Demonstrated experience improving financial systems and processes.
- Advanced IT and financial systems knowledge.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
